The geographical focus of the call for proposals is on any of the low- and middle-income countries, as listed in the latest DAC list of ODA recipients (August 2009).
The geographical scope refers to the country where the intervention is implemented.
The focus on low- and middle-income countries is in line with the primary objective of the Fund to address the knowledge and evidence gap with regards to the effectiveness of violence prevention interventions in low- and middle-income settings.
Evaluations of regional interventions covering more than one country are also accepted, provided that at least one of the countries of implementation is included in the list of eligible countries.
