Programme to be evaluated: | Centres for the Integral Attention of Children in Dominican Republic (CIANI) and Local Community Organizations for Child Protection (LCOCP) – two community-based programmes aimed respectively at i) providing comprehensive early child care and development services and strengthening family functioning in order to prevent intra-familial violence; and ii) detecting and reporting any form of child maltreatment and conducting public education on violence prevention and child protection issues. |
